2. Rules
This regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and the Laser Class.
3. Eligibility & Entry
3.1 The regatta is open to all boats of the Laser Standard, Radial and 4.7 Class.
3.2 Skippers may be entered by completing an entry form, registering with the organizing authority and paying the entry fee.
4. Registration & Fees
4.1 Registration will be on-site on day of event
4.2 The Entry Fee not to exceed $20.

6. Sailing Instructions
Sailing Instructions will be provided during the Competitors’ Briefing.
7. Courses
Courses will be posted on the Official Notice Board and specified at the Competitors’ Briefing.
8. Scoring
8.1 One race constitutes a regatta.
8.2 All fleets will compete together unless otherwise specified in Sailing Instructions.
8.3 If 5 or more races are sailed, each boat’s series score shall be the total of her races scores excluding her worst score. This changes A2.
9. Protests
Protests not settled on the water will be settled via 3-minute justice as outlined in the Competitors’ Briefing.

11. Safety
11.1 All competitors shall wear U.S. Coast Guard approved lifejackets at all times while on the water. Failure to do so is protestable only by Race Committee and shall result in disqualification.
11.2 Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during or after the regatta.

From North/South of Daytona Beach – Take I-95 to Exit 256 – State Road 421. Travel East to the Atlantic Ocean. Turn right onto State Highwas A1A, South Atlantic Avenue. Follow road to Volusia County Lighthouse Point Park.

Sailing will take place upon the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean just north of Ponce de Leon Inlet. A short sail or tow around the jetty from the host site, Lighthouse Point Park, located at the southern tip of the Daytona Beach Peninsula.
Lighthouse Point Park is a 52 acre county park featuring fishing, nature trails, observation deck and tower, swimming and picnicking. It has ample parking for the fee of $5 per car , rest rooms, showers and a large pavilion. (See attached Exhibit A). You can walk to the beach to watch the racing or drive you car on the beach and walk to the park for the festivities. Also within walking distance is the Historic Ponce de Leon Lighthouse, Marine Science Center, Bird Rehabilitation Center, Parasailing, Marine Eco Tours, Charter Fishing, a Boatyard, a Restaurant, additional parking and a Public Boat Ramp.
