1. ORGANIZING AUTHORITY & HOST

Sailing Center Inc & Hobie Fleet 80

2. RULES

This Regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).

3. ADVERTISING

This regatta is classified as a Category C event.

4. ELIGIBILITY & ENTRY

Open to all single or multi-crew catamarans under 22.5 feet in length having a current USSAILING Portsmouth Number or with Provisional Portsmouth handicaps.

5. BOATS & MEASUREMENTS

Competitors are responsible for making sure their boats comply with their class rules or declare any modifications for open classes.

6. REGISTRATION & FEES

Pre-registration is requested on-line at Fleet80.com by June 18^th. It is possible to register the day of the race however we would like to avoid this. Entry fees 75$ double crew and 55$ single crew and 35$ for youths.

7. SCHEDULE

Friday June 18 at 6-8 p.m. Check-in and registration with party on the pool deck.

Saturday June 19^th 9-10:30 a.m. Check-in and registration on pool deck.

- Skippers meeting at 11:00 a.m.

- First Signal noon with other races to follow

- Dinner on pool deck following races and trip to Ocean Deck for Fleet 80 style partying. Transportation available to and from Acapulco Inn.

Sunday June 20^th

- First Signal 11:00 a.m.

- No races after 2:30 p.m.

- Awards following

8. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

Will be available at final registration

9. VENUE

Races will be held in the Atlantic Ocean in front of Acapulco Inn.

10. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.

11. INSURANCE

Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of $100,000 per event or equivalent.

12. Radio Communication

Except in an emergency a boat shall neither make radio transmissions while racing nor receive radio communications not available to all boats. This restriction also applies to mobile telephones.
